COLORADO RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION

Established in 1933, the Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) serves as the primary trade organization for the vibrant foodservice sector in Colorado. It advocates for, educates, and supports an industry that includes more than 11,000 dining and drinking venues, contributing over 270,000 jobs—about 12% of the state’s workforce—and generating $10.9 billion in yearly sales. The CRA boasts around 3,000 restaurant members and over 300 vendor partners, who supply essential products and services to the food industry. Additionally, independently-owned restaurant members can enjoy a dual membership with the National Restaurant Association (NRA). The CRA is overseen by a Board of Directors with more than 60 members, while a nine-member Executive Committee shapes its policies. The day-to-day operations are managed by a dedicated staff of 19. The association has eight regional chapters across the state, including three that focus on student involvement.
