Colorado Review
Established in 1956, Colorado Review began with contributions from notable writers like Langston Hughes, William Carlos Williams, E. E. Cummings, Henry Miller, Bertolt Brecht, and Mark van Doren. This national literary journal showcases a variety of contemporary works, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and book reviews. Each issue is around 200 pages long and is released three times a year. With a circulation of about 1,100 copies, Colorado Review is available at universities and public libraries nationwide, and is distributed to independent bookstores through Kent News. The journal receives more than 9,000 manuscript submissions annually. Colorado Review is dedicated to publishing modern creative writing. We welcome submissions from both emerging and established authors. However, we do not accept genre fiction and do not adhere to any specific literary philosophy or style in poetry or fiction.
