Arlington, VA- Today, Common App launched its direct admissions program with 70 member colleges and universities. This month, over 300,000 first-generation and low and middle-income students who are college-interested will receive proactive admissions offers. Common App Direct Admissions also includes outreach and resources to families and counselors with students receiving direct admissions offers.

Today, Common App announced that it is partnering with the state of Connecticut through the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) to offer thousands of students in the state direct admissions to both public and private institutions through their Connecticut Automatic Admissions Program (CAAP). “We are excited to partner with the state of Connecticut to ensure students know they are worthy and wanted on a college campus,” said Jenny Rickard, President & CEO of Common App.
