As the only organization entirely focused on community oncology, COA plays a vital role in the care of the majority of Americans facing cancer. Their mission is to guarantee that cancer patients can access quality, affordable care right in their own neighborhoods. Each year, over 1.5 million individuals in the United States receive a cancer diagnosis, but thanks to advancements in early detection, diagnosis, and treatment, the number of deaths from cancer has been gradually decreasing.
