In 2008, Jamie Taylor, our founder and current owner, recognized that many people were missing out on concert event details. To address this gap, he created a Facebook group to share presale information about new shows in the Vancouver, BC area. The group's popularity soared, and it became clear that a more efficient way to share this information was needed. This led to the launch of the original website, ConcertAddicts.ca, in November 2008. What started as a simple presale information hub evolved into a comprehensive platform for event updates. The site now offers a full concert calendar, along with fan-captured concert photos and in-depth reviews. To ensure that information reaches fans quickly, the website is well-connected with popular social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. All of this was accomplished by Mr. Taylor himself.
