The 26-year old arrives with a wealth of experience in the highest level of southern hemisphere rugby. This year’s event takes place on Saturday 24th May at the Galmont Hotel in Galway, and pays tribute to the performances of our players, coaches and volunteers at all levels of the game. Connacht Rugby and the IRFU can confirm Pete Wilkins has taken the decision to step down as head coach with immediate effect. Pete Wilkins has released the following statement:“It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing my departure from Connacht Rugby – the club and province that I have been so proud to call home for the last eight years.
