Cook's Country
America's Test Kitchen is an actual facility: a straightforward, fully equipped 15,000 square foot testing area situated in the Innovation and Design Building in Boston's Seaport district. Here, a skilled team of test cooks and editors conducts thousands of experiments each year. Their mission is to create the finest recipes and cooking methods, suggest top-notch cookware and equipment, and evaluate popular pantry items for home chefs. The results of their hard work are shared through our two magazines, Cook's Illustrated and Cook's Country, a variety of cookbooks, our websites, and our public television shows, America's Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country TV. We emphasize a collaborative cooking style, where teams of editors, writers, and cooks work together in side-by-side comparisons, blind taste tests, and thorough equipment evaluations to find out which pans perform well, which ketchup is the tastiest, and more.
