December’s graduates of the EAC Gila Pueblo Campus nursing program were saluted on the completion of their educational journey with a pinning ceremony in the Miami High School Auditorium on Thursday morning. The proud graduates presented with pins by family members were Llory Burnette, Asyah Cordova, Kira Hendrix, Gabriel Jacott, Presley Martinez, Megan McDowell, Kaylin Miller, Shawnda Moser, Emily Peery, Jessica Reichelt and Seneca Sullivan.

That, according to Arizona Department of Transportation statistics, is the most common scenario; in 2021, 477 motorcycle crashes (29%) statewide involved left-turning vehicles.

Until August, the pool will be open to swimmers from noon to 5 p.m. daily; in August, hours will be reduced to Monday through Thursday. Pool third-party activities will be available, and pool rental reservations tentatively available, in early July.

Located upstairs in the HDHS thrift store, at 150 W. Mesquite St. in Globe, the new Boutique Room features clothing, home décor and more. “We have some really nice new items that get donated,” said HDHS Board Secretary Charlene Giles.
