A man died after his car crashed into a tree in downtown Walnut Creek early Saturday morning, according to city police. The situation unfolded at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday (April 19) when a vehicle traveling eastbound on Ygnacio Valley Road struck a tree just west of the North Main Street intersection, according to Lt.
