According to Lloyd, it is time to judge Littler on his own performance not 'The Power's past exploits. 'The Nuke' has now secured a place in the playoffs of the Premier League Darts, which take place later this month at the iconic O2 Arena in London.

The WDF Ranking has been updated as of Monday 12 May to include the results from the Cyprus Classic and Masters as well as the Selangor Open. Beau Greaves still remains on top despite not playing since February. Greaves has mainly plied her trade this season on the PDC Tour apart from the Dutch Open Darts earlier in the year. She lost to Rhian O'Sullivan who is second in the WDF Ranking. She has not played either since winning both the Dutch Open and Las Vegas Open to claim her spot at Lakeside.

The fields have been announced in part for the Australian Darts Masters and New Zealand Darts Masters as Luke Littler and Luke Humphries head Down Under for the World Series of Darts double header. But those expecting to see the Premier League line-up will only partially get their wish. Three spots have been left open with Michael van Gerwen, Nathan Aspinall and Rob Cross snubbing their invites due to family reasons.

In the UK such tournaments as the UK Open, European Championship and the recently revived World Masters have been showpiece events on ITV4 but they will now reportedly be on the move with Channel 5 reportedly set to snap up the rights to free-to-air rights. City AM reported that they are close to securing live rights for nine tournaments from next year which also includes the Players Championship Finals and at least seven World Series of Darts events including the finals.
