De Dagelijkse Standaard

The Daily Standard, often referred to as DDS, is a Dutch-language blog that was established on February 9, 2009, by Joshua Livestro, who served as both editor and publisher. On October 1, 2014, Michael van der Galien took over as the editor-in-chief. By June 24, 2016, it was announced that Van der Galien had also acquired ownership of the blog. The Daily Standard positions itself as "a collective blog providing commentary and insights on current events." In 2009, it received a nomination for 'Best Political Weblog' at the Dutch Bloggies.
