Direkt36
Direkt36 is a non-profit organization dedicated to investigative journalism in Hungary. Our goal is to uncover misconduct and the misuse of power through rigorous and fair reporting, which is essential for a thriving democracy. We deliver comprehensive accountability journalism to both Hungarian and global audiences, providing in-depth stories that many local media outlets lack the capacity to explore. Unlike typical news organizations that focus on everyday events, Direkt36 dedicates its efforts solely to systematic investigations. We are also part of an expanding international network of investigative journalists and ensure that all of our stories, which frequently have global relevance, are available in English.
