Ravensburger has announced another massive expansion for its trading card game, “Disney Lorcana”, which will see the game being released in more regions across Asia from September 2025. The game will launch in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and other markets will be able to purchase card packs featuring English language cards. The release of Disney Lorcana’s 9th set, called Fabled, will be in September 2025 in the markets listed above, coinciding with the worldwide release.

Ravensburger has announced the first-ever bans for its Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, with two cards being removed from its Core Constructed format. The game design team chose to ban “Hiram Flaversham – Toymaker” and “Fortisphere” to ensure the greatest diversity of successful strategies was available to competitive players. The ban is in effect as of April 8th, 2025, meaning all Disney Lorcana events taking place after that date will no longer accept deck lists with those cards included.

While most Lorcana collectors and players are looking forward to new sets coming later this year, Ravensburger is still looking to sell some of its third set, “Into The Inklands”, which was originally released in early 2023. Costco has listed a brand new Lorcana Bundle, which is priced at $44.99 and offers both starter deck packs, along with four booster packs and an exclusive “Glimmer foil” Mickey Mouse – Pirate Captain promo card.
