Yet another good survey (1045 parents and teens 13-18) showing high use of GenAI in US schools. UseFirst, we have to recognise that they’re using it and that their use is across a number of tools for different purposes. But homework and assignments are the most common.

It is almost as if countries fit into something like the OCEAN model, also known as the Big Five personality traits - Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. But things are far more complex, as different countries have different economic bases, infrastructure and cultural histories. We are a single species with lots of cultural and economic diversity. So bear with me as I reflect a little on some differences.

Long a critic of most approaches to leadership theory and training, she focuses more on what leadership is not, with more of a focus on what she calls ‘followership’. She has written many books on the topic, from Bad Leadership (2004) to The End of Leadership (2012), won many awards, and is an accomplished international speaker.
