Welcome to my blog dedicated to recipes, food, and travel! Thirteen years ago, I took a leap of faith and left my corporate job to pursue my passion for cooking and creativity in the culinary world. Cooking and baking have led me on an exciting journey, and today I work as a professional food stylist, recipe developer, and food photographer. I call DrizzleandDip.com my online home, where I share my culinary adventures. With a background in hospitality management and food brand marketing, I have successfully navigated my path as a solo entrepreneur. I published my first cookbook in 2012, followed by my second one, 'Sweet', in 2015 through Penguin Random House South Africa. 'Sweet' received a Gourmand award in South Africa and was recognized as a finalist in the Gourmand Best of the World cookbook competition in the pastry category. In 2021, I was honored to receive the Galliova award for Digital Food Influencer of the Year. I also won Best Food Blog in Africa at the African Blogger Awards in 2016 and was recognized as the Best South African Food Blog in the Fairlady Consumer Awards in 2013. I love to dream big, especially during the day, and my passion for cooking comes from my love for food. When I'm not busy in my kitchen, studio, or online, you might find me hiking in the mountains or swimming in the ocean. I feel fortunate to live in the stunning city of Cape Town, South Africa.
