The latest estimated figures from the Office for National Statistics for unemployment are lower than the UK level of 4.4% and cover the period between October and December 2024. The East Midlands figure is 0.6% lower than the previous three months in the region.

The latest estimated data published by the Office for National Statistics is the second consecutive month where inflation has been above the Bank of England’s target of 2%.
