Echoes, which began as Black Echoes, is a monthly publication focused on soul, jazz, R&B, hip hop, and reggae music. It started as a weekly newspaper in 1976 and later rebranded to Echoes. In 2000, it transitioned from a weekly format to a monthly magazine.
