Economic Observer

Established in August 2000, the Economic Observer is an independent weekly newspaper in China that reaches major cities across the country. Our primary focus areas include business, economics, finance, law, politics, and social issues. On March 1, 2007, we relaunched our website, introducing a new English version that offers translations and exclusive articles. As the publication continues to expand its reach and connect with a global audience, we plan to enhance the English site with more engaging free content. Currently, most articles on the English platform are direct translations from the Chinese newspaper. The Chinese slogan of the publication, 理性，建设性 (li3xing4, jian4she4xing4), translates to "rational and constructive," reflecting our commitment to progressive values and journalistic integrity.
