Emma and 3

Emma and 3

Emma and 3 is a renowned blog that has received several awards since its inception in 2009, following the arrival of my third child. I began this blogging journey to capture the moments of family life, and it has since expanded to include topics such as travel, education, health, and parenting. Additionally, I run a second blog called Mums Savvy Savings, which focuses on tips for saving time and money. In 2014, I transitioned from being a secondary school teacher to pursue my passion for blogging and freelance writing full-time. This career shift has allowed me to write for well-known publications like the Daily Mail. I've had the privilege of partnering with various well-known brands and participating in many innovative and exciting campaigns. My blogging journey has led to numerous media appearances, including features on The One Show and live segments on ITV News. I also enjoy speaking at blogging conferences and participating in local radio shows.

But what about life skills for teenagers, they’ll need once they step outside the school gates? Whether your teen is heading off to sixth form, university, an apprenticeship, or straight into work, academic success is only part of the picture. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of stepping into a new home—until you realize the boxes are piled sky-high, you can’t find your toothbrush, and you forgot to clean behind the fridge. Let’s be honest: moving can get messy, disorganized, and way more stressful than it needs to be. But it doesn’t have to be that way. With a little planning and the right help, your transition can feel more like a fresh start and less like a giant to-do list.
