The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Toronto gets underway on June 7th, with 12 teams competing for a share of the $1 million (£736,000) prize pool on offer. The first trailer for the new James Bond game, 007 First Light, has been released, providing details on what consoles it will be available on. Set for release in 2026, 007 First Light will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The studio behind the game is IO Interactive, best known for their work on Hitman. It is the franchise’s first ever origin story following James Bond’s rise to becoming a 007.

English football club Man City has released a promotional video to showcase its esports academy programme. Developed in collaboration with City in the Community (CITC), the video highlights the initiative, which offers a BTEC qualification in esports. IO Interactive has announced the official title of its upcoming James Bond game: 007 First Light. The name reveal, confirmed on social media, comes almost five years after the Hitman developer first teased ‘Project 007’. 007 First Light is expected to explore Bond’s origin story and his journey to earning the 007 designation. IO’s announcement tweet used the hashtag #EarnTheNumber, suggesting the game will be a story about Bond becoming a 00 agent.
