Tesvolt unveiled its new Tesvolt Taytan storage solution last week at The smarter E Europe event in Munich. This battery storage system allows users to stack three to ten modules to achieve their desired storage capacity. Each module provides 6.25 kWH, making the product suitable for both residential and commercial photovoltaic setups. According to Tesvolt, up to four battery storage units can run in parallel through a single inverter.

Bellwether battery energy storage company Fluence Energy lowered its fiscal year 2025 revenue forecast to between $2.6 billion and $2.8 billion, down from a previous estimate of $3.1 billion to $3.7 billion. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided a US$30 million equity bridge loan to support Egypt’s first major hybrid renewable energy project, which has now officially broken ground. CMBlu Energy, a German company developing energy storage systems, was named a winner of The smarter E Award 2025 in the Energy Storage category last week, as jury members recognized the company’s Organic SolidFlow battery technology designed for long-duration energy storage applications. The Organic SolidFlow battery, due for production in 2026, this long-duration battery system stores 200 kWh of energy and has a 40 kW output power.
