SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) surpassed USD100 billion in intra-day AUM for the first time in its history this week with the firm writing that this is a major milestone for the world’s largest and most liquid gold ETF. HSBC Asset Management (HSBC AM) has announced the launch of the HSBC MSCI Emerging Markets Equity Index and HSBC MSCI Emerging Markets ex-China Equity Index Funds, as part of its efforts to offer UK investors access to equity opportunities in some of the world’s fastest-growing economies. The funds have received seed investment from Tatton Investment Management, one of the UK’s largest Model Portfolio Service (MPS) providers in the UK, who have provided capital to launch both funds.

European-domiciled US Equity ETFs have experienced larger net outflows since President Trump’s tariffs announcement on April 2nd than during Q1 2020, which included the COVID-19 crash, says Kenneth Lamont, Principal, Manager Research at Morningstar.
