On Monday, I wrote about two new outgoing checkpoints on the Washington side of the US border with Canada and how they could be a preview of sealing the exits for American citizens. On Tuesday, I shared an updated roundup of emigration resources. I know many Americans will not or cannot leave. These decisions are personal, and I respect the calculus behind them. But I share these resources for vulnerable people who may want to leave, be it a reader or someone they know. Please share them widely.

But you don’t care about that. You want to get things you paid for. Or subscribed to willingly. I want that for you, too. How many paid subscribers aren’t receiving my emails? (I have no idea.) How long has that been happening? (I don’t know.) Will this impact renewals and upgrades?
