France 3

France 3 is a public television channel in France that offers free access to viewers. It is a part of the France Télévisions group, which includes other channels like France 2, France 4, and France 5. The channel operates a network of regional TV services that deliver daily news and provide around ten hours of entertainment and cultural content focused on local regions each week. In addition to regional programming, France 3 airs a range of national shows and reports on national and international news from Paris. Originally known as FR3 or France Régions 3, it officially became France 3 in September 1992. Before Outre-Mer 1ère was launched, France 3 also served the French overseas territories with its broadcasts.
