Felt it would be nice to have a little touch base! March favorites will be highlighted and sprinkled throughout. I have to lead with saying my very favorite thing that came to me in March was my Hatch alarm.. this thing is magical. I wake up to the sound of nostalgic cardinals or busy Parisian streets, wind down with waves crashing, red light and sound baths, and fall asleep to rain/ brown noise. It’s really helped me with my sleep habits and getting up earlier/ going to bed earlier.

I’ll never forget the change-of-seasons shopping trips when I was young. My mom would take my sisters and me to Nordstrom to check out all the newness and pick out a couple things for spring! I was always most excited for the shoes, strolling through B.P. and of course a visit to Nordstrom Cafè for some buttered noodles.

I’m absolutely obsessed with everything in the Polo by Ralph Lauren Vacation Shop… Here are some stand-outs I’m eying: a perfect blue cable-knit cashmere sweater and oversized button down, a chic cotton sun hat, a flattering black one piece I can’t wait to wear on a beach day (the understated logo in the corner is everything), a very good canvas tote for shlepping ripe tomatoes and sunscreen, and a great striped beach towel.

Writing to you from my couch on Saturday night, watching My Best Friend’s Wedding. I used to watch this movie with my mom all the time as a little girl. She always let me watch her favorite movies with her, no matter how young I was. And I love her for that. I particularly love My Best Friend’s Wedding because it’s based in 90’s Chicago, and just so good. And Julia Roberts… but you knew that was the best part. I’m officially 6 months out from wedding territory.

January and February have felt so slow and quick all at the same time. I’ve really been knee deep with wedding planning, so my apologies for a little bit of an absence in my usual cadence here.
