Gig Harbor Now

Gig Harbor Now is a nonprofit news outlet dedicated to enhancing the community and supporting democracy through accurate and unbiased reporting of local news and events. It also serves as a platform for the residents of the greater Gig Harbor area to share their voices. The organization was founded following the closure of a previous publication, whose editor and reporter believed deeply in the value of local news. For ten years, they published Gig Harbor Life until it was discontinued by its parent company, Gannett, in 2018 due to financial challenges.
