Golfdom
Golfdom primarily caters to superintendents, the professionals responsible for overseeing and caring for golf courses. These superintendents are well-versed in agronomy, which involves the management of soil and turfgrass. The magazine is also read by golf course owners, architects, general managers, and golf professionals. Golfdom aims to both educate and entertain its audience by offering valuable content that provides useful insights to support their careers. After more than 50 years of publication, Golfdom ceased operations in 1981 due to Herb's declining health and shifts in the magazine industry. For 18 years, the absence of Golfdom left a noticeable gap in the golf sector.
