Barnes & Noble has issued a new firmware update for its NOOK e-readers. It includes some new features and enhancements, such as the NOOK HUB, which is the same system ported over from their Lenovo tablets. There is a new section where you can read the patch notes. New fonts are available in the reading app, and fixes for the time remaining in a chapter are at the bottom of the page.

The key feature is minimal power consumption with up to 200 days of usage.
