Greymouth Star
The Greymouth Star, which was previously known as the Greymouth Evening Star, is a daily newspaper based in Greymouth, New Zealand. It serves the Westland region, reaching areas from Westport to Haast. This publication is notable for being the sixth oldest daily newspaper in New Zealand, having been established by James Snyder Browne on March 18, 1866, as a four-page daily edition. In 1991, the newspaper marked its 125th anniversary, and that same year, it was acquired by Dunedin media company Allied Press, which took a majority stake in the publication.
