HGTV (Canada)

HGTV is a Canadian English-language specialty channel available via cable and satellite, categorized as a Category A network. It operates as a joint venture, with Corus Entertainment holding 80.24% majority control through its licensee, HGTV Canada, Inc., and Discovery Inc. owning the remaining 19.76%. The channel features a variety of programs focused on real estate, home and garden design, and renovation projects. While much of the content comes from the U.S. version of HGTV, the network also showcases original series made in Canada. Some of these Canadian shows have gained popularity and are aired on the U.S. network as well. Additionally, HGTV Canada includes a selection of home renovation programs sourced from other channels in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
