Donald Trump made a lot of empty promises to his MAGA base while campaigning, but the biggest lie he told--after the Big Election Lie of 2020--was that his tariffs would bring down consumer prices despite the way he destroyed the American economy during his first term in office. The shockwaves from Tuesday's unexpected win for Trump are already being felt financially a full two months before the inauguration.

Women have been harassed by men for the entire history of the planet, with the internet only making it easier for men and therefore worse for women. In all too many instances, online harassment and stalking have spilled over into the real world, with sexual assault and other physical attacks on women and others increasing exponentially in the last few years in concurrence with the rise of Donald Trump's MAGA base, as evidenced by the "Me Too" movement.

The United States drastically cut its reliance on tariffs as a primary form of federal revenue over a century ago. Nobel Prize-winning economists have predicted that Donald Trump's proposed tariffs would send the United States into a combined depression/recession that it might never recover from. Handed a robust economy by his predecessor Barack Obama, Trump proceeded to tear it all down, hastened by the COVID-19 pandemic. When Trump left office, inflation was at a record-high 6.7%.

People took to the streets of American cities coast to coast in the wake of the election results no one was expecting. Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Cleveland, San Jose, Berkeley, and Portland, OR, were just a few major metropolitan areas that saw groups ranging from 200 to over 2000 expressing their rage that the country will have to endure at least one more Trump term amid fears that his MAGA cronies will ensure the end of free and fair elections.
