    The Brooklyn Navy Yard was once again transformed into a high-energy esports arena as HITN hosted the 2025 CONDUIT Esports Tournament. On Saturday, June 7, student teams from seven New York City public schools—representing all five boroughs—came together for a full day of competitive gaming inside HITN’s studios. With some boroughs represented by more than one school, the annual event welcomed approximately 100 student gamers, all competing for the prestigious 2025 CONDUIT Cup.

Representing the network with enthusiasm and cultural pride, a team of HITN staff members marched up Fifth Avenue alongside thousands of participants and spectators.     HITN participated in the first Career Day Fair at Icahn Charter School 5 in the Bronx, an event aimed at introducing students in grades K-8 to various career paths. Themed “Traveling into Their Future,” the event welcomed over 330 students who engaged with professionals and organizations across different fields. Students received career “passports” to guide their experience, collecting stamps and asking questions at each station.
