Hoover Institution

The Hoover Institution, officially known as The Hoover Institution on War, Revolution, and Peace, is a think tank based in the United States that focuses on public policy. Its mission is to advocate for personal and economic freedom, free markets, and limited government intervention. Although it is a part of Stanford University, the Hoover Institution operates independently with its own board of overseers and funding from various sources and donations. It is often characterized as a conservative organization, although its leadership has challenged this label.
