Hulu

Hulu is a subscription-based streaming platform based in the United States, primarily owned by The Walt Disney Company, with a minority share held by Comcast's NBCUniversal. The service was introduced on October 29, 2007, and provides a wide selection of movies and TV shows from various studios, including 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Disney Television Studios, ABC, Freeform, and FX Networks, along with unique Hulu original content. Initially created as a collaboration between News Corporation and NBC Universal, along with Providence Equity and later The Walt Disney Company, Hulu started as a way to offer recent episodes of television shows from its partners. In 2010, Hulu expanded its offerings by launching a subscription service called "Hulu Plus," which included complete seasons of shows and immediate access to new episodes. In 2017, the platform introduced Hulu with Live TV, a service that streams live television channels.
