    Back in the early ‘90s, Anything crochet was my thing. It was my way of adding a little bohemian romance to my usual jeans and Nocona shoe-boot look (I still have a little cardigan somewhere that I scored at a scrimshaw shop in Sag Harbor—Wish I still had those Noconas). Now it seems that open-knit numbers (even bags and shoes) are popping up faster than Jiffy Pop, and I’m all over it.

    Hi! In keeping with our theme of late, here I am in another one of my favorite shops, 9th Street Vintage, owned by the super chic, extremely discerning and keen-eyed Meri Civorelli. You won’t find random old clothes here—Meri is adamant about only selling things from the 1800s just up to the ‘80s (and those are mostly Levi’s). I’ve gotten so many of my favorite pieces here, including those perfect Wranglers I’m wearing, above (and that stellar Lee jacket is still up for grabs).
