Institute for the Future

IFTF, established in 1968, is a nonprofit organization focused on the public interest and originated from the RAND Corporation with initial backing from the Ford Foundation. According to our founding documents, we believe it is essential for society to develop the tools, techniques, and research skills needed to address socio-economic issues before they escalate into major problems. This vision was groundbreaking during a period of significant upheaval, advocating for a more thorough systems approach to the future. Our goal is to empower individuals with their expertise, enabling them to navigate uncertainty more effectively.
