GillenMarkets was founded fifteen years ago by Rory Gillen and currently advises over €0.6bn of assets for c.500 families. As part of the acquisition, the firm’s founder, five investment advisers and their support team will join QCE’s Dublin-based team.
RL360 agrees £1.95m settlement with Isle of Man regulator relating to AML procedures

Isle of Man headquartered RL360 has agreed to pay the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (IFSA) a total of £1.95m in a civil penalty relating to historic anti-money laundering procedures. II understands that the size of the fine is in relation to a percentage of the company’s turnover rather than the severity of the breaches. The IFSA has been undertaking a review of Isle of Man based companies procedures and has already issued fines to other financial services companies based on the island.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission said today (2 May) it has cancelled the Australian financial services licence (AFS) licence of Brite Advisors Pty Ltd (Brite Advisors) following a payment of compensation by the Compensation Scheme of Last Resort (CSLR). On 30 September 2024, the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) made a determination against Brite Advisors, which it failed to pay.
