Invisible Institute

We are a nonprofit journalism organization based on the South Side of Chicago. Our mission is to empower citizens to hold public institutions accountable. To achieve this, we use various methods including investigative journalism, multimedia storytelling, documenting human rights issues, gathering public information, and facilitating challenging discussions within the community. At the heart of our work is a key belief: as citizens, we share the responsibility with the government to uphold human rights and to seek justice when violations happen.
