This one gets ya in the feels. As a fan ofÂ Stranger Things, there was so much about this moment that made me want to draw it – the tenderness, the joy and emotion… she had thought she’d never see him again and here her adopted father was (and after getting closure with her more evil “papa”)… I just loved it — and I knew I wanted to draw it after seeing that scene. Speaking of falling in love with actresses based on their roles — how about Kate Beckinsale in Serendipity! I know she probably has become more known for slaying vampires, but to me, she’ll always be the object of John Cusack’s affection in Serendipity. I drew this one freehand (they all are, but I feel compelled to specify that each time) in 2022 in all graphite pencils. I did like how this one turned out, but the original drawing is up for grabs presently in my art shop.
