Journal of The American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD)

The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, commonly known as JAAD, is a monthly medical journal that focuses on dermatology and is peer-reviewed. It started in 1979 and is published by Elsevier for the American Academy of Dermatology, making it their official journal. The current editor-in-chief is Dirk Elston from the Medical University of South Carolina. As per the Journal Citation Reports, JAAD had an impact factor of 6.898 in 2017. Additionally, JAAD has a sister publication that specializes in case reports, called JAAD Case Reports.
