Journal of the American College of Radiology
The Journal of the American College of Radiology, often referred to as JACR, is a monthly medical journal that focuses on the field of radiology. Launched in 2004, it is published by Elsevier for the American College of Radiology, serving as its official journal. Bruce J. Hillman from the University of Virginia was the inaugural editor-in-chief, and he was followed by Ruth C. Carlos from the University of Michigan, who took over on January 1, 2019. The journal is sometimes nicknamed the "blue journal." According to the Journal Citation Reports, it had an impact factor of 3.785 in 2018.
