The Junee Southern Cross is a weekly newspaper that comes out every Thursday. It caters to the town of Junee and the nearby villages of Illabo, Bethungra, Junee Reefs, and Old Junee. Junee has a strong connection to the railways, both historically and today, and remains a key railway hub in the area.
