Introducing the Kansas News Service, a partnership of public media outlets dedicated to providing important and insightful news coverage. Our reports reach nearly all of Kansas daily and are also available online and in local newspapers throughout the state. Our team of journalists is spread across Kansas, focusing on stories that impact people's lives. We aim to clarify the issues and events that influence the health and well-being of Kansans, their communities, and the state as a whole, with a special focus on education, health, and government affairs. While our main team is based in Topeka, our reporters also operate out of Wichita and Garden City, traveling wherever necessary to cover the stories that matter most.
