KBEQ-FM, known as "Q-104," is a country music radio station that serves the Kansas City area. Before switching to its "young country" format in 1993, KBEQ was the only Top-40 station in Kansas City. The station also broadcasts using HD Radio technology. You can find its studios at Westport Center in Midtown Kansas City, while the transmitter is located on the East Side of the city.
