KBUC, also known as "Super Tejano," is a radio station that plays tejano music. It is located in Raymondville, Texas, and caters to the McAllen-Brownsville-Harlingen region. The station is owned by R Communications Group LLC, operating under the license of MBM Texas Valley, LLC. KBUC has received a construction permit from the FCC, allowing it to boost its power to 37,000 watts. Additionally, KBUC was the main station for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Prior to its current format, the station aired a country music lineup until it changed on August 15, 2011, at 5:00 p.m.
