KCOS is a PBS affiliate television station broadcasting on virtual and VHF digital channel 13 in El Paso, Texas. It is operated by the El Paso Public Television Foundation, a nonprofit organization. The station's studio is situated on Viscount Boulevard in northwest El Paso, just northeast of I-10, while its transmitter is positioned on the Franklin Mountains at the edge of the city. For those with cable, KCOS can be found on Time Warner Cable channel 12.
