KCSB-FM (91.9 FM) is an educational, non-profit radio station situated on the campus of UC Santa Barbara. Its mission is to provide a learning experience for both its programmers and its audience. Students at UCSB, along with other contributors, have the chance to grasp the basics of radio broadcasting, covering both technical skills and content creation, while also delving into more advanced topics related to the broadcasting field and audio production. The station's broadcast range extends from Los Angeles County in the south to San Luis Obispo in the north, making it accessible to a wide audience.
