Buyers Laboratory Inc is a company that specializes in providing insights about the imaging sector. It was established in 1961 by Arthur Kallet, who was also a co-founder and led Consumers Union for two decades, the organization behind Consumer Reports magazine (note that BLI is not associated with Consumers Union). In February 2004, publishing industry experts Michael Danziger and Mark Lerch acquired BLI; they currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, respectively. In 2012, John Lawler, who has over 25 years of experience in the information industry, took on the role of Chief Executive Officer. Danziger and Lerch continue to offer their expertise as active advisors and members of the BLI Board of Directors.
