Khmer Times
Khmer Times is dedicated to providing its readers with the most current news from Cambodia, the region, and around the globe, both in print and online, while maintaining an impartial approach to reporting. Prior to the launch of Khmer Times, the English-language news landscape in Cambodia was largely controlled by just two outlets for the last twenty years. We believe it was time for a shift—a new perspective on how news is delivered in this country. We publish content five days a week, from Monday to Friday, and our website is updated daily, along with real-time updates as news breaks. Our online readership continues to grow, with our stories frequently shared by the Bangkok Post and other regional publications. Our goal is to provide the latest news from a neutral viewpoint, which is the hallmark of quality journalism. We also encourage writers to share their viewpoints, which are featured daily in our Opinion and Analysis sections. We strive to remain neutral on all issues, allowing voices from all sides of the political, business, social, and news spectrum to be heard. To engage the vibrant youth population in Cambodia, we offer a weekly Youth Today section, along with a Weekly section that includes diverse topics, dining experiences, and a popular entertainment guide. Our business section stands out as a leader in the market, featuring not only the latest news but also weekly insights into the Kingdom’s rapidly growing property sector. We empower our readers to form their own opinions by providing unbiased information. The more informed they are, the easier it is for them to navigate various issues. We also value reader engagement and regularly publish Letters to the Editor on a range of topics, giving our audience a platform to express their thoughts.
