On April 18, Julien Baker and Torres will release their debut collaborative album, Send a Prayer My Way, featuring both a country-infused sound and style of storytelling. The album includes singles “Sugar in the Tank,” an indie-flavored honkytonk hoedown, and the sentimental new  track, “Sylvia,” which is inspired by Torres’ dog. The idea for the country album arose nearly a decade ago, after the duo played a show together in 2016.
